Critically Acclaimed feat. Phonte of Little Brother "Road Trip" 12"
· biggest surprise
the majority of the US voted for Bush and we reelected that bastard!!
· biggest disappointment
see biggest surprise
· books I read
tons of page turners (Crichton, Grisham, etc...) and other books that fall into my lap. I recommend "The Life of Pi" by Yann Martel (hard to get into, but a very rewarding book)
· movies I saw
not many, but "Fahrenheit 9/11" was some crazy shit
· websites I visited
· foods I ate
I don't discriminate on any food, I'm a lover of all. But especially some good Pasta!!!
· things that made me smile
my friends and family, good music and good food, especially when all of them are present at the same situation
· things that made me go hmm
the possibility to move to another country in order to experience new cultures
· things that made me cringe
the fact that Bush won another election and will probably get to appoint two (maybe more) Supreme Court Justices creating a negative impact on this country far longer then his 8 years in office
· best moment(s) of 2004
Rocksteady 04 / Beat Society in NY (9th Wonder, Nicolay, Ken Wood, Chops). Hanging out with good people and dope music, what more can you ask for?
· worst moment(s) of 2004
Bush winning reelection
· what I'd like to see in 2005
more quality music, commercial or underground. I don't care as long as its good music!
· what I don't want to see in 2005
some shine (laughs). On the real: I would love to break down more barriers and cross over to more markets
· hip hop in 2005 will be...
okay, we just need to continue and make good music. It doesn't matter if most of the time the major outlets (commercial radio, MTV, BET, etc…) aren't supporting it. As long as good music is out there people will gravitate towards it and create a movement that people will follow
· my new years resolutions
spend more time with my MPC, I need to really start banging joints out!!!
